Have you dreamed about growing Indian vegetables in your own backyard, such as Avarakkai, Kothavarangai, podalangai, mana thakkali etc, but left wondering how to get started, or where to even get seeds?
Austin Tamizh Sangam is very excited to initiate “ATS Garden Club”! It will be a one of a kind group, that will be dedicated to all things Indian Vegetables….

OUR MISSION
· Provide a platform to bring together like minded folks with an interest in gardening with a special focus to grow and exchange harvests (Eg. “Uzhavar Santhai”) of Indian vegetables locally
· Initiate and maintain a seed bank for Indian vegetables, that is available to ATS members for FREE
· Organize periodic seminars and information sessions, as well as publish monthly articles that are themed towards gardening as well as sustainable living as a whole
· Inspire and train our future generations and be support system, to be more environmentally conscious citizens
CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS
As with any non profit initiative, it would be impossible to achieve our mission without the help of volunteers. We are reaching out to leverage your time and skills, to take this to the next level. The sky is the limit on ideas, and we invite you to reach out with your ideas by using the below form.
