Arun Arunachalam is a technologist by profession. Arun’s nature, planning abilities and sociable skills helps bring people together. He is always been passionate about serving community. To him Austin Tamil Sangam is the bridge that connects people here to the Tamil culture and the values. He is happy to be part of the ATS team and serve.
Mahalakshmi Rameshbabu is passionate to serve the community, spread Tamizh language & culture to younger generation growing up in US and be helpful as much as possible to everyone.
Harish, a technology professional who relocated to Austin three years ago however has been in the US since 2008. With a strong commitment to community service and building connections, he actively participates in various non-profit activities and Tamil Sangams across the country. In his last role he served as the President of the Omaha Tamil Sangam. In his free time, Harish enjoys cooking, entertaining friends, and spending quality time with his wife and six-year-old daughter.
Chidambaranathan Alagar is a passionate advocate for preserving and celebrating our rich Tamil culture and heritage. Over the past 15 years, he has wholeheartedly volunteered with various non-profit organizations and Tamil schools in the USA. Currently, he is employed as an IT professional at Symplr Inc. Since 2021, he has been residing in Leander along with his wife and two sons. His commitment to our culture propels him to actively contribute to its flourishing presence within the Austin Tamil community. This journey has enriched his personal life and allowed him to continually nurture a profound connection to our cultural roots.
Mohan is a digital transformation leader hailing from Kumbakonam. Living in the United States for the past couple of decades. His love for Tamil drives him to actively learn and contribute to our community.
Manikandan Chellapandian is a IT Software engineer hailing from a small village near Madurai and living in Austin for the past 3 years. Prior to Austin, He lived in Omaha, Nebraska for 15 years and was actively involved in Tamil Sangam and Tamil School and handled many responsibilities. He participated in many stage plays and was never afraid to dance or sing whenever there is a chance.

Gokul Chakravarthy Vijayamoorthy is passionate about Tamil culture, history and everything Tamil. As a friend, he will engage in all activities with determination and courage.
Jayasree Girish is a new Austinite and former product manager with a passion for singing and a heart for animals. Believes in creating a home away from home for all fellow Tamilians out here. Enthusiastic about connecting with people and embarking on a fulfilling journey in Austin. Excited for the opportunities and experiences that lie ahead in this vibrant city.
Vivek Eswaran is a Senior Software Engineer. Outside of coding, He is a foodie exploring diverse cuisines, a travel enthusiast, avid hiker, and a passionate cricketer. Within Austin Tamil Sangam, his aim is to actively participate in and back cultural initiatives, contributing to the promotion of Tamil heritage and traditions.
Poornima Krishnamoorthy moved from California to Austin recently. She has worked in tv show as floor manager- managing public & contestants, coordinated events n corporate sectors, hosted lots of events, mceeing events, clearly speak, read and write Tamil.
Sakthivel Natarajan is a cloud infrastructure technical manager. He has been volunteering in various local communities since 2010. His daughter and son have been going to Tamil school since 2010 and are very fluent in Tamil. He wanted to pass the Tamil values and culture to the next generation, which made his kids participate in competitions like Thirukural, kavithai, pachi, and katturai potti. He loves to serve our community.
Sanjay Balakrishnan is an IT professional in Exelon. Sanjay is from Chennai and is in US for more than two decade. He has been associated with various Tamil Sangam for many years. Sanjay is passionate about giving back to the community and connect with people.
Sasikala Subramaniam is passionate to help the community and serve her people to the finest of her ability. She works for Texas Department of Public Safety, HROD. Her hobby is listening / learning music.
