2026 ATS Ramadan Meet Event
ஆஸ்டின் தமிழ்ச் சங்கம் அனைத்து பண்டிகைகளையும் அனைவருடன் இணைந்து கொண்டாடுவதில் பெரு மகிழ்ச்சி அடைகின்றது. அதன் ஒரு பகுதியாக ஏப்ரல் 13ம் நாள் ரமலான் பெருநாள் கொண்டாட்டத்தை சாம்பியன் பார்க்கில் கொண்டாடியது. ஜனாப் ஷேக் மொஹ்சீன் அவர்கள் ரமலான் பண்டிகை குறித்து அனைவருடனும் பகிர்ந்து கொண்டார். விருந்தினர்கள் ரமலான் நோன்பு கஞ்சி மற்றும் பஸ்பூஸா உட்பட பல்வேறு இனிப்புகளை அனைவருடனும் பகிர்ந்து கொண்டனர். இந்த நிகழ்வில் பலரும் பங்கேற்று விழாவை மேலும் சிறப்பித்தனர்.
ரமலான் என்றாலே ஈகை எனும் கருத்தை மேலும் வலியுறுத்தும் வகையில் ஆஸ்டின் தமிழ்ச் சங்கம் ஏற்பாடு செய்திருந்த “தேவைப்படுவோருக்கு உணவு சேகரிப்பு” நிகழ்ச்சி மூலம் கிடைக்கப்பெற்ற அனைத்து உணவு பொருட்களும் சென்ட்ரல் டெக்சாஸ் போவ்ட் பேங்க்கின் ரவுண்டு ராக் கிளையில் வழங்கப்பட்டது. ஆஸ்டின் தமிழ்ச் சங்கம் வாக்களித்தபடி மக்கள் வழங்கிய உணவுப்பொருட்களின் மதிப்பிற்கு ஈடான தொகையை காசோலையாகவும் வழங்கியது.
Austin Tamil Sangam holds a deep sense of joy in sharing the celebration of various festivals with everyone. The recent celebration of Ramadan at Champions Park on April 13 was a touching demonstration of unity and understanding. The essence of Ramadan was beautifully encapsulated by Janab Sheikh Mohseen, who enlightened everyone about the festival’s significance. The sharing of Ramadan fasting porridge, and many traditional sweets, including Basbousa and kheers added a sweet note to the occasion, with everyone’s participation making it all the more memorable and special.
In the true spirit of Ramadan, which symbolizes giving and sharing, the Austin Tamil Sangam organized a “Food Drive”. All the food items collected were dropped off at the Round Rock Serving Center of Central Texas by ATS Executive Committee Members. To further foster this spirit of benevolence, Austin Tamil Sangam matched the value of the donated food with a monetary donation, keeping their promise and demonstrating their deep commitment to community service.
