ATS volunteers at Northwest Balcones Park

We are overwhelmed with gratitude for our ATS members’ extraordinary commitment to community involvement. Their participation in the Northwest Balcones Park “Caring for Young Trees” project, originally intended for high school students and adults, was inspiring. Children and adults responded splendidly to the call, showing up with intense enthusiasm at 8.00 a.m. on June 29th, despite a scorching day and a T20 Cricket World Cup final match. A mountain of mulch was to be spread throughout the park. And yet, our exceptional ATS volunteers completed this monumental task by 11:00 a.m., stunning the Park maintenance rangers. This mulch-layering around trees is crucial for root survival and moisture retention in the heat. Our hearts are full of appreciation for both the young and adult volunteers. Your contributions have significantly beautified our community park. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts.
