## ATS Monologue Competition 2026
The ATS Monologue Competition 2026 brought together young performers for an inspiring celebration of Tamil language, theater, and storytelling. Hosted with the support of Kalalaya Productions, the event gave children and adults an opportunity to present monologues across historical and social themes while developing confidence, creativity, language fluency, stage presence, and character portrayal.
The participants impressed the audience and judges with their preparation, emotional expression, and commitment to their roles. Performances ranged from stories rooted in history to thoughtful reflections on contemporary social themes. The judges shared valuable feedback, encouraging participants to consider the audience’s journey and use theatrical emotion to strengthen their impact.
First- and second-place prizes were awarded to participants in both the *Mullai (Young Adults)* and *Marutham (Adult)* categories.
