மகிழ்ச்சியும் ஒற்றுமையும் நிறைந்த சமூக விழா
ஆஸ்டின் தமிழ் சங்கத்தின் ATS கோடைக் கொண்டாட்டம் 2026, ஜூன் 21, 2026 ஞாயிற்றுக்கிழமை, காலை 11:30 மணி முதல் மாலை 5:00 மணி வரை, Milburn Park Pavilion, 1901 Sun Chase Blvd, Cedar Park, TX 78613 இல் சிறப்பாக நடைபெற்றது.
உணவு, விளையாட்டு, சிரிப்பு, மகிழ்ச்சி மற்றும் சமூக ஒற்றுமை நிறைந்த ஒரு அருமையான கோடை விழாவாக இது அமைந்தது. சுமார் 150 பேர் குடும்பத்தினரும் நண்பர்களும் இணைந்து கலந்து கொண்டு, இந்த நாளை நினைவில் நிற்கும் ஒரு சிறப்பான நிகழ்வாக மாற்றினர்.
BBQ மற்றும் potluck முறையில் நடைபெற்ற இந்த கொண்டாட்டம் நிகழ்ச்சிக்கு மேலும் சிறப்பு சேர்த்தது. எங்கள் தன்னார்வலர்கள் காய்கறி ஸ்க்யூவர்ஸ், சோளம், சன்னா, மற்றும் சிக்கன் லெக்ஸ் ஆகியவற்றை சுவையாக தயாரித்து வழங்கினர். அதோடு, உறுப்பினர்கள் தங்களின் விருப்பமான உணவுகளையும் கொண்டு வந்து அனைவருடனும் பகிர்ந்து கொண்டனர். உணவு, குழு ஒருங்கிணைப்பு, மற்றும் சமூக உணர்வு இந்த நிகழ்ச்சியின் முக்கிய சிறப்பம்சங்களில் ஒன்றாக அமைந்தது.
குழந்தைகள் முதல் பெரியவர்கள் வரை அனைவரும் மகிழ்ச்சியுடன் கலந்து கொள்ளும் வகையில் பல்வேறு விளையாட்டுகள் ஏற்பாடு செய்யப்பட்டிருந்தன. பெரியவர்கள் கயிறு இழுத்தல், பஞ்ச் டயலாக் கண்டுபிடி, டம்ப் சாரேட்ஸ் போன்ற விளையாட்டுகளில் உற்சாகமாக பங்கேற்றனர். குழந்தைகள் கப் ஸ்டாக் சவால், பலூன் கேட்டர்பில்லர், ஃப்ரீஸ் டான்ஸ் போன்ற விளையாட்டுகளில் மகிழ்ச்சியுடன் கலந்து கொண்டு நிகழ்ச்சிக்கு உற்சாகம் சேர்த்தனர்.
சிறப்பு நினைவாக, ஒவ்வொரு குடும்பத்திற்கும் அன்னையர் தினம் மற்றும் தந்தையர் தினத்தை நினைவுகூரும் வகையில் அம்மாக்களுக்கும் அப்பாக்களுக்கும் தனித்தனி அன்பளிப்புகள் அடங்கிய சிறிய பரிசுத் தொகுப்பு வழங்கப்பட்டது. இது நிகழ்ச்சிக்கு மேலும் ஒரு இனிய நினைவையும், குடும்ப மகிழ்ச்சியையும் சேர்த்தது.

A Joyful Community Celebration
Austin Tamil Sangam’s ATS Kodai Kondattam 2026 was held on Sunday, June 21, 2026, from 11:30 AM to 5:00 PM at Milburn Park Pavilion, 1901 Sun Chase Blvd, Cedar Park, TX 78613.
It was a wonderful summer community celebration filled with delicious food, fun games, laughter, and togetherness. With approximately 150 attendees, the event brought families and friends together for a memorable day of bonding and enjoyment.
The BBQ and potluck-style gathering added a special flavor to the celebration. Our volunteers prepared and served a delicious BBQ spread that included vegetable skewers, corn, Chana, and chicken legs, while members also brought and shared their favorite dishes. The food, teamwork, and community spirit made lunchtime one of the highlights of the day.
The event had something for everyone, with enthusiastic participation from both kids and adults. Adults enjoyed exciting games such as Tug-of-War, Find the Punch Dialogue, Dumb Charades, and more. Kids had a fantastic time participating in fun activities including Cup Stack Challenge, Balloon Caterpillar, and Freeze Dance, keeping the energy and excitement alive throughout the day.
As a special gesture, each family received a small gift package with thoughtful gifts for moms and dads, commemorating Mother’s Day and Father’s Day. This added a warm and memorable touch to the celebration.
Austin Tamil Sangam extends its heartfelt thanks to all the volunteers, food contributors, youth volunteers, participants, and organizing team members who helped make Kodai Kondattam 2026 a grand success. Your time, support, enthusiasm, and community spirit made this event truly special.
