ATS Youth Bird Walk

Saturday, August 2nd, was an incredible day at the Brushy Creek Lake Park! Attendees had a blast learning about birds, identifying them by names and calls. Big thanks to volunteers Vidhya, Terry, Carrie, and Devi from Travis Audubon for their fantastic guidance. We spotted 30 amazing species like Painted Bunting, Carolina Chickadee, Red-shouldered Hawk, Great Egret, Snowy Egret, and Green Heron in just 2 hours. The kids were thrilled and left inspired to keep bird-watching! The last picture shows the Cliff Swallow nests under the Parmer Lane Bridge.
