I have experience in leading people. During 4th and 5th grade I went to Milton academy on Saturdays to attend a leadership class were we learned the qualities of a leader and in that class there were a lot of times where I had to step up as a leader. I gained a lot of experience from my time there and I still use it today. I moved here from Massachusetts where every student in 8th grade is required to complete a civic action project in groups. During that project I was considered the leader and I organized the group and split the work between everyone so we would complete faster. Our group had a lot of setbacks but we persevered and in the end we completed the project with flying colors. During this project I learned how hard it can be to be a leader. I also take initiative in everyday classroom groups. I hope to expand my knowledge in this committee.
I have experience being a leader and I am good at being heard. I believe that I can represent the ATSYC as a organization. I’ve always liked being in charge because it gives you the sense of helping and teaching others. By being president of ATSYC, I will nothing but the voice of our whole organization.
I am an ideal candidate for this position because I like to make a difference in my community and I like to educate people about my cultural background. Further more I would like bring the youth ATS Community together to work for a great cause. With my previous experience leading and working with other youth members I believe I can bring more opportunities for youth to do various service projects. I am optimistic I can lead the youth to support ATS in its initiatives and vision.
I have leadership experience as stated before for the Beats for a cause event. I am also in 12th grade in high school, which would make it easy for me give advice on how school works and helping younger people with their assignments. I believe I have the ability to work with and lead a team of people to success!
I am an ideal candidate for this position because I have had a lot of experience with leadership in the past. This makes me a lot more accustomed to the situations that we may have to face as youth leaders and I will be able to handle them accordingly. I am also a team player and have a lot of experience working with teams, this will in turn help out the rest of the team in performing better and achieving the best that we can possibly hope to attain.
I am a very positive person, open minded for any ideas that come up, very organized, and good at scheduling.
I am Charvi Murali, a 7th grader at Meridian World School. I am applying for the Joint Secretary position, and I think I would be a good fit for the position because I have been in leadership roles before, including the 7th grade Head Delegate for Model UN at my school. I am a good collaborator and I have won a lot of competitions with my team as well. My team went to the regionals(Central Texas), and we got 2nd prize on our project. I also have made quite a bit of achievements on my instruments as well. I play the flute in a band, and I went to the All-Region Band as 6th Chair. I am a good helper, and always there when someone needs help.
I have prior experience with a multitude of leadership positions spanning many years, as well as the fact I have never been afraid to voice my opinion. In addition, I want to bring positive change to my community and I believe I can do this through my role in this committee.
I feel like I'm the perfect fit for this position because I work pretty well under stress so if something went wrong during an event I wouldnt panic and focus on the task at hand. I know how to get things done because I'm in marching band and thats really time consuming but i've learned how to manage my time wisely and be able to finish my work once I get home really later after school and rehersal. This also shows that I dont tired very easily and I keep pushing forward. I speak fluent tamil and english so thats a big plus when im talking to adults or other important people because communicating would gp really smooth and easy. I personally feel like these are things you are looking for in someone who is going to manage a team of volunteers and be able to get things done.
I have the experience from my previous jobs to plan events and manage the responsibilities that comes with it. I know how to balance my work and will make sure to plan events properly
